About CFPC

Central Florida Parent Center (CFPC) serves parents of children with disabilities and students with disabilities in 30 counties in central and northeast Florida.  Staffed by parents, for parents, we provide one-on-one individual assistance, as well as free workshops on topics related to special education including:

     - The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
     - The Individualized Education Plan/Program (IEP) Process
     - Transition from High School
     - Procedural Safeguards (Rights & Responsibilities in the IEP)
     - Conflict Resolution and Effective Partnering with School Personnel.
